Andrew Yoder, O.D.

Dr. Yoder grew up in Dyersville, Iowa. He completed part of his undergraduate career at Iowa State University. In 2009 he was hired to play his electric guitar at Pine Cove Camp, in Tyler, Texas. During his time there he met his beautiful wife, Lee Davis. Soon after Dr. Yoder transferred to University of Texas at Arlington, to complete his undergraduate pre-optometry course work. Dr. Yoder graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2015. Dr. Yoder’s special interests in eye care are primary eye care, contact lenses, and treatment of severe dry eye.

When not examining patients Dr. Yoder enjoys spending time with his wife, Lee, and kids, Adair and Davis. His hobbies include playing guitar, tennis, and being a stand in ranch hand for his mother-in-law, Jajan Davis.

Dr. Yoder’s community involvement includes the Chamber of Commerce and he is a member of First United Methodist Church. Dr. Yoder is active in the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association.

Daniel Ewing, O.D.

Dr. Daniel Ewing is dedicated to providing compassionate and expert eye care to his patients.

Dr. Ewing grew up in North Texas and after working for his local Lancaster optometrist, he left inspired and headed for the Hill Country to attend Texas State University where somewhere between floating the river and working at Seaton Health, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He soon found his way to the riverwalk and graduated magna cum laude from the Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas.

Meandering up to Central Texas in 2015, Dr. Ewing spent the next 7 years serving the community of Corsicana and the surrounding areas seeing over 33,000 patients of all ages. Dr. Ewing has also provided free vision screenings for the homeless and underserved in conjunction with the Dallas Life Foundation.

He and his wife, Naomi, and their daughters, Ariadne, Rosalie, and Lillian are excited to move to Sulphur Springs and explore the local treasures of East Texas.

In his spare time Dr. Ewing enjoys hiking, cooking, and gardening. Please share if you have any good locations for hiking, or tips for cooking and gardening, he would be happy to hear them!
